This article (everything after the line halfway down) was 100% written by Jasper.ai (the AI text generator) all about itself. The contents of this article might sound like fact, but most of the features that this article says Jasper can do, are made up…by Jasper itself. While Jasper is an extremely powerful tool for helping you to write content quickly, you really need to fact-check your content for accuracy.
Thousands of people across the world are using Jasper to write content.
At the moment, this AI text generating software is widely accepted to be a powerful writing assistant (probably the best in the world), but it’s not so good when it comes to writing fresh new content without a human input.
The way it writes is still so impressive though.
From small things like writing professional bios for LinkedIn, Twitter etc, to full blog posts.
What I want to do with this post is to show you an example of a blog post created by Jasper, where this AI text generator goes rogue.
It’s a nice rogue. I mean I still love it, but be careful so you don’t get your hands bitten.
Normally creators will only show the refined content, but the reality will be that as AI copywriting gets more popular, the Internet is going to be filled up with beautifully written content full of the most made up drivel you’ve ever read or heard.
The content comes across so convincingly, that even though you know it’s software creating the content, you almost fall into the trap of thinking the claims in there are true.
When it comes to creating posts written by this content creation software, you definitely need to check facts.
But if you sign up to a trial with Jasper, please make sure you fact-check your content before publishing.
I mean, in most situations, this software is a simply stunning writing assistant, but always approach it with the mindset that it’s assisting you, rather than leading your content creation efforts.
Unsurprisingly (I don’t blame Jasper) but it lies about a lot of things.
I’ve seen some content that is completely made up, and the post created by Jasper below is another example. It’s simply the nature at the moment of the technology.
I’ve highlighted all the bits of text in the article below which I believe to be lies.
This post is not about whether each bit of text that I’ve highlighted is true or not, it’s simply to give you the general view that you must fact check all content created by AI software (and humans too of course).

…Jasper is one of the best tools for content writers. It helps you speed up your writing is so many ways. Use it wisely and you will reap the rewards. If you do sign up to a Jasper trial, use the software wisely and you should find it extremely useful. There are moments of frustration, but Jasper will help you create content in so many ways. Not only that, but it can write to a higher standard than many of us given the right situations.
FYI I wouldn’t bother with Jasper’s AI image generator. For certain industries it’s amazing, but for most it’s not there yet. Having said that, it’s a seriously clever piece of kit (as you can see in the image above), but I’m not sure the final images are too usable.
